Absolutely! We curate collections from independent designers and brands around the world. We buy directly from the source so you are guaranteed to receive nothing but authentic frames from Kindred by Design.
All our frames are made by hand by actual people, using techniques passed down between craftsmen and artisans from generation to generation. The collections we carry are made in limited quantities. More often than not, when a piece is sold out, it is not remade in that particular colorway. If you like exclusivity, this is for you.
We carry frames in acetate, various metals, assorted woods, and distinct leathers.
We travel the world to find designers and brands passionate about their craft. We don’t work around trends. We look for originality, creativity, and innovation in our partners. Some of the designers we work with are launching their first collection. Others are well known in the optical industry, known to discerning wearers and collectors, but aren’t aren’t as familiar to the general public.

Our customers typically purchase their frame with us, then take them to their Eye Care Professional to have prescription lenses put in.
